THE YELLOW

THE YELLOWは2023年に結成された、Didgeridoo/ComposerのmabsohとGuitarの栗山義昭からなるユニット。mabsohは大地の響きを連想させる低音が特徴的なディジュリドゥの演奏とエフェクターなどの音楽機材を担当し、アンビエントからダンスミュージックまで幅広いTHE YELLOWの音を組み立てていく。

一方で栗山はPOP、ROCK、BLUESをはじめとした音楽から影響を受ける。柔軟さと直感力を持ち味に、エモーショナルで存在感のあるギタープレイとメロディを展開する。
両者の個性が重なり合い、THE YELLOW独自のサウンドを生み出している。

THE YELLOW is a musical duo formed in 2023 by didgeridoo player and composer mabsoh and guitarist Yoshiaki Kuriyama. Using the didgeridoo and effects, mabsoh creates diverse soundscapes ranging from ambient atmospheres to dance rhythms, while Yoshiaki blends elements of pop, rock, and blues into his expressive guitar melodies.
